SOW: Removing existing sliding door and wall between the high bays to ceiling. Removal of existing storage rack systems in the high bays. Remove suspended ceiling and replace light fixtures with new light fixtures from high bay ceiling. Remove fire alarm system from suspended ceiling and replace with new fire alarm system from high bay ceiling while maintain existing controls. Should existing controls require upgrades for any reason, perform necessary upgrades using the same manufacture and any applicable software to maintain the fire alarm system. Remove HVAC from suspended ceiling and provide new duct work to high bay (as determined to be required). Removal of fixed crane assembly, hoses and appurtenances from high bay (rail system may remain).
Relocation of air system with demo of HVAC within suspended ceiling. Demo of suspended ceiling. Demo and replacement of existing light fixtures. Relocation of fire alarm system. Removal of crane appurtenances/assembly. Relocation of any communication/data cabling as necessitated by the contractor’s final design or work plan. Provide a Safety Plan. Provide a detailed construction schedule.
Completed Work: Removed and replaced HVAC duct work supplying HVAC to both bays and two storage rooms. T&B was completed to verify airflow through the new ductwork. Removed a section of wall between bays and finished, primed, and painted the cut block. Cut in 11 steel reinforced concrete footers 12 inches thick to support the mezzanine columns with 4000 psi concrete. Removed and replaced fluorescent lighting in both bays with LED lights, adding lights under the Mezzanine. Removed and replaced outlets, installed a disconnect for the new material lift. Installed emergency lighting; Re certified the fire alarm system after adding new strobes and pull stations; Installed Panel Built Mezzanine System; Installed 1000 lb capacity material lift.
