SOW: ReStrategic Weapons System Ashore (SWSA) Test Facility Building 51902, is located on Safety Road in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS). The southwest exterior corner, used for the operation of forklifts, is not completely paved; currently the area is grass and gravel and the two driveways do not connect. Exposure to the elements of wind and constant rain, make the conditions of these surfaces to be subject to degradation. In addition, the frequent operations of forklifts increase the degradation of these areas. The project scope is to pave this area with concrete with the intent of providing a safe, sound and environmentally protected area for the use of forklifts.

Completed Work: Removed existing soil, concrete, and asphalt paving around the south and east sides of the building. Provided three new ramps at facility entryways for material handling. Provided a 10” concrete pavement vehicle parking area at the south end of the east side of the building. Provided new sidewalks along the east and south perimeters of the building and under an existing equipment stand
